First Communion

The Church of St. Peter offers the Sacrament of First Holy Communion to students in second grade. First Eucharist is offered once per year. Students must be Baptized and have made their First Reconciliation prior to making their First Eucharist.

Preparation day March 21:
12:30-2:00 p.m.

Preparation day April 18:
12:30-2:00 p.m.

First Eucharist Mass
Sunday, April 25 at 12:30 p.m.

 

Students, along with their parents, attend a series of courses on the understanding of Holy Communion and its sacred role in the Catholic life. Students will be engaged in catechises and workshops designed to foster love for Our Lord's gift. Parents will have an opportunity to deepen their own understanding of the Eucharist and how it transforms daily life. The series concludes with students receiving their First Holy Communion.
